Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I'm not at home this week so I can't tell, but how muddy does the bass sound here? made with samples and some stock Live devices, done on my bluetooth headset only.

nice sound design and mixing! the bass sounds good but the mix/master is emphasizing 100-120Hz which might feel muddy for some systems - i like it though, gives the drums a lot of extra punch!
it feels v gangsta. probably because of the bass as you and midimachine mentioned. I can't tell how much is the samples and how much is your own touch. sounds similar to what you hear on a youtube ad lol
we had a concert with my improvised avantgarde band and we used a sample of rockstar energy drink and it had a beat like this
The bass modulation sounds great on my speaker, but imo the content in the higher-than-mudbass frequencies are what make it sound so interesting.
This is filthy, gross, and I love it. The bass sounds great.

Yess, this is super cool! I'd like more punch from the kick, but the sounds here are wicked!

Uninteresting anecdote: Some friends brought me to a live dubstep show and it was the most horrible out of touch unoriginal noisefest I have ever heard. I felt old and angry hahaha
